I really enjoy twisting and creating different shapes with copper wire. Two summers ago, I traveled to the United Kingdom. My parents and I saw dolphins on one of the beaches in Wales, and there were tons of sea glass and cool rocks. In an effort to preserve these memories, I made this necklace with one of the sea glass pieces that I found. My mom taught me to make jewelry when I was younger, and I now make it for fun and to sell. I have always admired how wrapped copper wire looks, and so I wanted to try doing this myself. Recently, I've been trying to incorporate different element into my work, so that its more of a challenge than placement of beads. This is why I made the copper coil beads, and used the glass as the focus.
